Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At Aadiyogi Shiv Yog Ashram & Resort, we understand that circumstances may change. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation terms for retreat bookings and program registrations.

Important: Please read this policy carefully before making a booking. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Cancellation by Participant

2.1 Cancellation Deadlines

• 30+ days before program start: Full refund minus processing fees (if any)
• 15-29 days before program start: 50% refund
• 8-14 days before program start: 25% refund
• Less than 7 days before program start: No refund

2.2 No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive on the scheduled start date without prior notice, no refund will be provided.

2.3 Early Departure

If you leave the program early for any reason, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of your stay.

3. Cancellation by Us

In the rare event that we need to cancel a program, you will receive:

• Full refund of all payments made, OR
• Option to transfer to another available program date

We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to cancel a program.

4. Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with you to:

• Reschedule your booking to a future date, OR
• Provide a credit for future use, OR
• Provide a partial or full refund (at our discretion based on circumstances)

5. Health-Related Cancellations

If you need to cancel due to health reasons:

• Please inform us as soon as possible
• We may request a medical certificate
• Refund terms will be applied based on cancellation timing (see Section 2.1)
• We may offer to reschedule at no additional charge (subject to availability)

6. Booking Transfers

You may transfer your booking to another person or date, subject to:

• Availability of the requested date
• Advance notice (minimum 7 days before original start date)
• Administrative fees may apply
• Price differences (if applicable) must be paid

• Services already rendered
• Special arrangements made specifically for your booking

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, especially for international visitors. This can help protect you in case of unexpected circumstances.
